Had a fun shoot with Tiffany. Started at our house for hair & makeup, then off to Legion Park in Everett.
Kevin & Erica - Everett Wedding Photography
Kevin & Erica had a sweet ceremony and joining of family with Kevin's daughter. Wedding was at Legion Hall in Everett - beautiful location!
Braedyn - Lake Stevens Portrait Photography
Had a great shoot with Braedyn. This was sort of a late senior portrait session since she only had a couple pictures from that time. (click an image to view slideshow)
Shem & Stacey - Snohomish Wedding Photography
I was brought in as a surprise wedding gift for Shem & Stacey's back yard wedding. Ceremony was beautiful!
Quinn Portraits - Lake Stevens Photographer
I had an amazing time photographing Quinn. We chased, jumped and yelled together. We met at Lundeen Park in Lake Stevens and basically just let him play while I ran around trying to keep up with him. I used flash on a couple shots but wanted to keep myself flexible and not miss any shots while playing with camera settings. Used Shutter priority mode at 1/500 and set the camera to auto-ISO to make sure I had enough light sensitivity and no motion blur. Being an overcast day, we didn’t have to worry about getting too many harsh shadows, and modern RAW files and post production software carry a multitude of forgiveness when it comes to insufficient light.

Dan & Jen: Lost Power, Sparks Still Flew
I celebrated with Dan and Jen this weekend, and they had a beautiful ceremony in spite of heavy rain and high winds. The venue lost power right at the end of the first dance, but we continued on with candles and mobile phone lights.
Bar & food service was conducted by the light of a battery powered lantern, and the cutting of the cake & toasts were done in candle and phone light. Not the best light for photography but we forged ahead and had a good time in spite of the circumstances. Congrats Dan & Jen!
